Obion County Chamber’s Rachael McKinney Named Executive Director of Adult Leadership Obion County

Union City, TN – The Obion County Chamber of Commerce is proud to announce that Rachael McKinney, Community Relations Director, has officially assumed the role of Executive Director of Adult Leadership Obion County, the Chamber’s premier leadership development program.

McKinney is no stranger to the program, having graduated from Adult Leadership Obion County in 2018. Since then, she has remained actively involved in community initiatives and leadership efforts across Obion County. In her role as Community Relations Director for the Chamber, McKinney has demonstrated exceptional skill in fostering community partnerships, managing public relations, and coordinating member engagement.

“Adult Leadership Obion County made a tremendous impact on my professional and personal growth,” said McKinney. “It’s an honor to now lead the program that first helped shape my passion for community leadership. I’m excited to work with our local leaders to continue strengthening Obion County.”

Adult Leadership Obion County offers participants in-depth exposure to the community’s most critical sectors, including local government, education, healthcare, economic development, public safety, and cultural heritage. Through interactive sessions and networking opportunities, participants gain a deeper understanding of the community and develop leadership skills to make meaningful contributions.

McKinney has already begun serving in her new role, ensuring a smooth transition and continued momentum for the upcoming leadership class.
